This week

Has been terrible. I've hardly used the LTT. Due to being busy but majority because I just can't find the motivation to do so.

I will try to start up again asap because it really is a good machine

Squeak has gone

Yesterday was a bad day for the LTT use. The squeaking was so annoying I opted not to use it much. In face I probably used it for 10mins max which was very annoying. However I got some WD40 and sprayed the heck out of it. Took a while to find the squeak because it kept coming back after a few steps but now it's gone and I've used it today for 15mins and no problem. Will use it again later. Happy days

Small update

I figured I would update before the weekend because I've noticed significant things and I may be too busy on the weekend.

Last night as I tried to sleep I felt the muscles in my legs and upper body feeling more toned, this is after 6 uses on the machine, a total of about an hour and a half. This makes me very happy about the machine. However I'm not feeling anything in my midsection currently like it suggests I should but maybe that just takes time as abs do take forever and a day.

However on waking up today and using the machine I have noticed it seems to creak and begin to  squeak louder, although as I said before this does eventually go it seems it's taking longer. Took a few minutes today and was a bit offputting and annoying.

I am able to do 15 minutes very easily now and feel I have more energy, I am going to start looping the dvd so once it's ended the workout it'll start over before the warmup so I can continue. I personally find the dvd more motivational as I've tried with music and I get bored and can't remember all the moves shown although Brenda's oodd perkiness is really beginning to annoy me. I keep noticing little things she does that make me want to smash things. It's like we're dating or somthing. HAHA.

Still happy with the machine, gonna use WD-40 to rectify the squeakiness if it continues to annoy me.

The day IT arrived

Today my LTT arrived nice and early....well around 10:30am. Instantly I was a bit shocked at the size and wieght of the item. For some reaosn I thought it'd be smalled but once I took it out of the packaging it looked fine. It seems very sturdy and quite well built. The one I ordered came with a DVD rather than a video which most people had said they'd recieved.

It came almost completly assembled. All I needed to do was tae off the packing supported and attach the feet which went into the rear steel supports. These bad to be screwed in with the screws supplied however I noticed the strew was a little too bit for the pre-drilled hole theyd put in the feet which made it a little stiff to screw in. I also needed to put the CPU display in which was simple and came with a battery. The instructions are easy to follow and it also comes with a troubleshooting guide and a sort of diet plan. The only thing that looked cheap was the LTT sticker which was a bit crooked and not stuck on properly, other than that it seems well made and I'm pretty happy.

After putting it together I decided to check the dvd out. Instantly I noticed it wasn't a new video they'd recorded for DVD, it was simply they recorded the video to the dvd, therefore the quality wasn't great and the sound was a bit poor but still easy to follow. The workout's quite good, I noticed it was affecting my muscles in all the right places and my knee's weren't hurting which was a fear I had. However Brenda is a bit too happy and wierdly chirpy but I guess if I'd invented a new excercise machine I'd be pretty happy showing it off too. I think I'll watch the dvd a few more times to memorize the routine but eventually replace her voice with some music.

The performance of the machine is good. I personally found it very easy to hop on and get started and didn't have a problem with my balance. I quickly learned that you don't step right down until it stopped by the supports, instead you step down and a little before it's about to hit the floor you step down with the other leg. This makes you work a little harder and also I think the constant impact would damage the machine eventually.

The bar changing from fast stepping to slow was simple to use and didn't keep jumping out either and so far no oil leakage or squeaking.

I used the LTT for 5 minutes doing the workout on the dvd and also using freeweights for my upper body. I broke into quite a good sweat and once I stopped I felt the effect immediatly. I am now planning to use the machine everyday at least 3 times and try to use it a little longer.

I will update at the weekend and once during the week with any changes and hopefully pics will come soon, I'm just having problem with the camera.

[EDIT] I have now used it 4 times and have built up to 15mins on it. I can feel it working my legs majorly.

Welcome to my Journal

Hello and welcome to my journal.
If you've found me here I assume it's because you've searched somewhere for the Laterial Thigh Trainer somewhere and this link has popped up so let me explain.
This journal is to show my experience using this machine as when I was looking for info all I could find were people who had used it for months and said they'd felt benefit but didn't say to what extent. I am planning on showing pictures of the progress as well as notices I am noticing to my everyday fitness.
So welcome, hope you enjoy.

As of so far all I have done is order the LTT, it should arrive in two days which is when this shall next be updated. I ordered from Amazon.co.uk, usually their service is pretty darn good.
